Foothill High’s boys basketball team pulled away early in the fourth quarter and hung on to beat No. 14 Sequoia 67-58 in a CIF Northern California Division III quarterfinal Thursday night.
Luke Lindsey and Josiah Palumbo each scored 18 points while Bekdoo Lewis dropped 16 points and Brandon McCracken pitched in with 11 for the 11th-seeded Cougars, who are on to the NorCal semifinals on Saturday at No. 7 Carmel.
