Death, taxes and Jadyn Matthews – some things are just reliable. The Enterprise senior again put up monster numbers helping the Hornets to clinch the Eastern Athletic League title last week with a road win over Pleasant Valley.
Matthews dropped 32 in the 64-59 victory over the Vikings, the reigning section champions. She followed that up with a 22 and 11 night in a 65-55 win over Red Bluff. Her efforts earned Matthews the Tri Counties Bank Girls Basketball Player of the Game honors for Week 10.
