The Shasta College football team dropped another tough one at home,  falling 23-14 to Santa Rosa, the first win of the season for the Bear Cubs.

It doesn’t get easier for the Knights as they travel to Chico to play rival Butte College on Saturday.

Shasta County Sports continues its weekly Shasta College football podcast – Knight Time – today as host Aaron Williams sits down with head coach Bryon Hamilton to talk about the loss last week and look ahead toward the Butte game. Shasta County Sports will be at Butte to broadcast the game live on our website, Facebook and YouTube channels.

Aaron Williams has been involved in the North State sports scene for more than two decades. He spent eight years as the Sports Editor for the local newspaper and another four more as the voice of high school football on the radio. Williams has coached various sports at the high school level over the past decade, most recently at Shasta High.
