GALLERY: No. 15 Shasta College falls at home to No. 5 American River

The 15th ranked Shasta College football team turned the ball over four times and No. 5 American River scored 24 unanswered points to close out the game as the Knights fell 44-27 Saturday night at Memorial Stadium in the Sierra Pacific Industries College Game of the Week.

Quarterback Hokulani Wickard completed 14-of-31 passes for 123 yards and one touchdown to go with three interceptions and Tyler Boston ran for 97 yards to lead the Knights. James Lee and Kentrell Petite each had five catches in the loss and Joe Merkel had a team-best 11 tackles.
