GALLERY: Anderson fall to Orland 55-7 to suffer first loss

Anderson High’s football team dropped its first game of the season in a 55-7 loss to visiting Orland Friday night at Bob Reid Stadium. The Cubs were without starting running back Cody Crawford, the Shasta County Sports No. 8 player for the preseason Top 50 Returner Player Rankings, and starting quarterback Mason Fuentes, who went down with an injury in the opener against Red Bluff.

Maddie is a full-time student that is studying photojournalism at Shasta College. She has focused on sports photography for three years, including two years holding the positions of Yearbook Editor and Photo Editor at Central Valley High School. Maddie has a passion for capturing the energy that surrounds athletics and the athletes that are competing for their schools. You can spot her on the sidelines of various Shasta College sporting events and high school football games. Maddie intends to transfer at the end of this year to a four-year University to finish her undergraduate degree in journalism and photography.
