Congrats to “lwestaby” of Redding for being the only one to earn 11 points, becoming the Weekly Winner for Week 5, earning a free Dutch Bros. Redding Coffee Free Beverage drink. The top five from Week 5 was rounded out by usernames (to keep anonymity) hunter, alek14, brad, peiball, respectively. Note: In the event of a tie with points and tiebreaker, the computer randomly picks a winner. Congrats to you all.
Everyone is still eligible to win the $500 Visa Gift Card for playing for FREE. The person at the end of the season with the most points wins the grand prize. The weekly winners are awarded a Dutch Bros. Coffee Drink.
We can’t stress enough to get the tiebreaker correct, but also because it’s worth 2 points. So if you have a bad week, just hope the tiebreaker falls in your favor.
Here are some stats from last week’s games:
–The public was 7-5 on the week — the worst mark of the season, missing on Shasta over Pleasant Valley (1%), Fall River over Biggs (13%), Durham over Esparto (29%), Point differential of the Chico-Enterprise game at 22+ points (42%) and Total Points scored in the West Valley-Orland Game at 1-42 points (11%).
–West Valley to beat Orland was the only unanimous pick. West Valley won 27-7.
–A total of 5 people got the bonus/tiebreaker correct, which was “How many points will the Tri Counties Bank Game of the Week between Gridley and Anderson be decided by?” The final score was 28-3 so the correct pick was 21-30 points points. Majority of pickers selected 11-20 points.
Make sure to MAKE YOUR PICKS by Friday at 7 p.m. for Week 6.
Also, check out the Leaderboard to see where you rank so far. It will be updated weekly. The username of brad, osu1 and alek 14 are tied for first with 61 points.
