Fall Camp Tour: Enterprise Hornets

Enterprise High head football coach Chris Combs and players Eli Cortinas and Wyatt Rivera talk about the upcoming 2019 season for the Hornets, who are coming off a 1-9 campaign in 2018.

Enterprise is coming off a 1-9 season in 2018 with the lone win coming against the best team in Shasta County — West Valley, which won the Northern Section Division III title and reached a state playoff game.

Back at the helm is Chris Combs, entering his second full year (he took over midway through 2017) and he has a new crop of inexperienced players including Pierce Embury, Eli Cortinas, Wyatt Rivera along with returners Mikey Hartman, Dylan Cuevas, Michael Michoff and Kobe Rodriguez to improve in 2019.

Enterprise has a bye in the opening week of the season, meaning the season-opener is Sept. 6 at West Valley in Cottonwood.
